Face it Mio, you’re always going to stand out. As Helios said, grad school is killing me… literally. I got sick b/c I was working so hard I barely had time to eat, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better until after fall break. Sorry guys, but I’ll release whenever I can. I think Helios may be taking some of my projects since my release schedule has become a mystery to the both of us. Anyway, enjoy K-On!!
Somehow, I will fit all of that into my schedule whilst finishing my senior year in college. I suppose this will all be at the detriment of my sleep, not that I was getting much of that anyways.
Strike is slow because he’s doing homework that’s impossible. No joke. He literally spends weeks on one problem of whatever subject he’s studying. Glad I’m not in grad-school.
Kara 3,4 next week…probably. Got an abstract algebra exam, so who knows.
OK, so this probably seems like it’s coming out of the blue. Well, that’s because it is.
One day I decided to watch one of my group’s releases, something I rarely do, and chose to watch The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya on my Playstation 3. After watching it I felt that the quality was high, but not as high as I would have liked it—after all, I had compressed the video from 36 gigabytes to 5 gigabytes.
There was banding everywhere so I decided to re-encode everything with settings that could accommodation the heavy gradients and details in the movie.
My result: a 13 gigabyte file that looks absolutely flawless.
The reason why our first release was so much smaller than this one is because back in December, when we encoded the movie, we really didn’t care about gradients as much as we do now.
As a side note: The subtitles are still awesome. Every single subtitle was clamped to their respective keyframes.
OK, so coming in two days behind schedule due to weird sign issues, we are proud to present to you Nyan Koi 1-2. We’re going to be sliding this into our encoding lineup. If you haven’t noticed already, we’re actually slowing down due to real life—AKA school.
Strike and I are back in college and totally suffering. So sorry for the slowdown.
In other news, Gundam 00 16-20 720p’s and K-On!! 13-14 720p’s go up by this Friday.
Kara no Kyoukai 3-4 are up next. Expect a release next week.
OK, so we are very behind on this series, but we are releasing the batch next time so hang tight.
We’re going to jump right into S2 after this and then finish up with the Gundam 00 movie.
Next in the pipeline is Nyan Koi. If all goes well, we should be able to get a release out this weekend. But we all know how well things go in real life, so you should probably count on it getting delayed.
This is about how I feel right now (stupid structural dynamics homework…). ANYWAY, K-On!! 13-14 finally up and running after such a long interlude of other anime. I’ll see what I can do about getting 15-16 done over the next few days. Until then, I’ll leave you with the masochistic dorobo neko more commonly known as… Mugi~!
Your tears are the greatest nourishment… OMNOMNOM— *cough* Right… Enjoy!
OK, so we finally finished this bad-boy, clocking-in at 5 months and 4 days since our first release with a 6 month and 5 day delay-factor. That’s approximately 1 episode every 1.25 weeks since the beginning of our release schedule. Not too shabby.
Anyways, here’s your lolicon/siscon stuff. I actually prefer the mom.
