      • do you think out of the kindness of your heart you could tell me how you make these things? i’m stuck at producing the video file in the m2ts, but i have no audio or subs. if you could write a guide, or link me to one, that’d be awfully kind of you.

  1. So is there any other way to transfer the video over to the ps3 besides using the PS3 media server? Cause from what I understand, I can’t use a hard-drive since the only format that can be read by a PS3 (FAT32) has a limit of 4gb.

  2. Kudos to you and your team Helios2k6!, my main pc is a netbook so I appreciate the efforts into making HD media available to a broader audience.

  3. Just downloaded it to Vuze, but the sound seems to be out of sync with the video, and the video speeds up and glitches. Any way to fix that?

    • I haven’t had that issue. Are you saying that the video speeds up and glitches when you play it directly (without seeking) on the Playstation 3, directly off the internal hard drive inside of the Playstation 3?

  4. So uh, other than PS3 media server, there’s no way of playing this on my PS3 right? I mean, it’s too big to put into an external storage since the PS3 only supports FAT with a 4 GB limit.

But if I had a PC good enough to transcode the movie anyway, why would I bother playing on my PS3 over my PC?

    • We, and everyone else in the world, don’t care about who, what, when, where, why, or how you play your media. If you want to play it on your PC, good for you. If you want to play it on your PS3 via a media streaming service, good for you. If you want to invest in a bigger internal hard drive and play the media off of that, good for you.

    • I’m not sure. I believe you should be able to transfer the file to the Playstation 3 via the DVD, because it’s possible to transfer files using a thumb drive. You just have to stick the video file into a folder named “VIDEO” (with all caps, without the quotes) at the root level.

  5. Glad i didn’t encounter a problem patching after i installed that java thing. Btw file size is pretty much the same even if the new one got 6ch audio, right?

    • We would seed 2.22 v2 except we don’t have it on the server anymore. We’re making room for the other anime we’re doing this season, plus the 100+ BD episodes that are planned for the next couple of months.

      • When the public downloads 2.22, they apply the patch, then they can no longer seed the 2.22 torrent because their file has changed. I can seed many nlogn torrents because I can just turn on the torrents at any time, but I can’t with 2.22 unless I keep the original unpatched version separately. Most people aren’t going to do that.

      • Ah OK. I see what you mean. We’ll think of a solution to this problem.

The issue is that if we start distributing a torrent of the v2, we’re going to have to initially seed it so that people can download it. We can’t rely on the community to provide the initial seed, so you’ll have to give us some time to set that up, because Eve 2.22 isn’t on the seedbox at the moment.
